The corporate media talking heads would have
you to believe that American military troops love that war and feel
that they are proud to be "fighting for freedom". However, the
military suicide rate has been surging higher since 2001 indicating
that the troops may not be happy with U.S. involvement around the
globe.
With suicide rates this high among United States military forces
it raises the question" is America's involvement in nation building
and occupying other countries really about fighting terrorism and
keeping the United States safe?
Even after
returning home to America, many troops still feel the effects of
serving their country as they often come back with P.T.S.D and a
life of homelessness.
From YouTube: "Each day 18 American soldiers commits suicide.
In the last few years, more US military personnel have taken
their own lives ... than they have been killed in combat in
Iraq or Afghanistan."
Sadly, many troops have
admitted to killing people in the middle east that they now feel
was for nothing.
